Congratulations 和 welcome to NWU! Now that it’s official, here are to-dos 和 deadlines. Completing these tasks on time will ensure a smoother transition to campus this fall.

Secure your place at Nebraska Wesleyan University
Steps for Class Registration
- Complete your account activation
Once you've made your deposit, you will receive an email from "Nebraska Wesleyan University <还没回答 [at] linkslot4d.net (还没回答[at]nebrwesleyan[dot]edu)> with the subject line "Welcome to Okta at Nebraska Wesleyan University!" to activate your Nebraska Wesleyan account. This will allow you to access your NWU email, 自助服务, Canvas 和 other accounts available to NWU students.
NOTE: Your Nebraska Wesleyan email account is different than the email account you used to create your application 和 access your personal NWU Admission Portal.
- 完成 First Semester Advising Questionnaire
Your academic advisor will use this information to learn more about your interests 和 goals to aid in developing your first semester schedule.
- Complete your Modern Language Background Survey
The Modern Language Background Survey helps us determine the best language class for you. The survey asks questions about languages you speak or have studied, as well as your interest in continuing your language study at NWU. Every student must complete this survey, even if you’ve met the proficiency requirement 和 don’t plan to continue your language study at NWU.
- Schedule your advising appointment
If you’ve submitted your deposit 和 completed your First Semester Advising Questionnaire, Modern Language Background Survey 和 activated your NWU account, you will receive an email with a link to schedule your class registration appointment with your advisor. Please allow 3–5 business days for the email to arrive following the completion of all steps.
Appointments will be held over Zoom May 9–June 6. Plenty of appointments are available to fit within your schedule.
International students: You will have an advising appointment on a rolling basis throughout the summer after the F-1 Student Visa is secured.
- 提交你的 final transcripts before the July 15 deadline
Request that your high school submit your official, final high school transcript with your graduation date listed 和 confirmed. Final transcripts must be submitted by the following methods:
- A paper copy sent through U.S. 邮政服务.
- Electronically through an approved service.
We do not accept high school transcripts by any other delivery method or from anyone other than your high school administrators.
Transcripts containing completed, college-level coursework must also be submitted.
Steps for New Student Orientation
- Register for New Student Orientation before the June 1 deadline
At New Student Orientation, you will have the opportunity to get further acquainted with campus resources, learn about student involvement opportunities 和 meet your classmates to build connections. Parents 和 guardians hear from staff about student support 和 success, living on campus or commuting from home 和 financial aid 和 student records.
You 和 a family member must attend one of the following in-person or virtual (Zoom) sessions:
- In-person – Friday, June 7, 9 a.m. – noon (limited space available)
- In-person – Friday, June 7, 2 – 5 p.m. (limited space available)
- Virtual – Monday, June 10 – 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Select a time for New Student Orientation.
Steps for housing or commuter enrollment
- Complete your 住房 Request Form before the June 15 deadline
This form informs us of your NWU housing preferences or plans to reside at home or off-campus with an approved exemption. Every student must complete this form, even if you qualify for an exemption.

- Complete your commuter certification (if applicable) before the July 15 deadline
If you will live at home with a parent(s) or guardian(s) you need to submit this form.
- Upload a photo for your student ID before the July 1 deadline
Upload a photo to be used on your student ID 和 our “New Faces” booklet of incoming students, which will be distributed at the start of the semester. The photo must meet the following criteria:
- Current color photo of yourself.
- White smooth background – no other people or objects in photo.
- Sufficient lighting with no shadows.
- Front view – full face filling at least 80% of frame.
- Cropped from just above the top of head to collarbone.
- Eyes open 和 visible 和 no glare on eyeglasses.
- No hats or sunglasses.

- Acceptable file types are gif, jpg, jpeg, png or svg.

- Complete your parking tag request before the July 1 deadline
If you plan to park a vehicle on campus, you will need to provide information on your vehicle’s make, model 和 license plate number. This information will be used to issue an NWU Parking Tag.

- 提交你的 room 和 board contract before the August 1 deadline
You will receive a housing 和 roommate assignment via your NWU email in early July. You will need to sign 和 date the accompanying “Room 和 Board Contract” to formally reserve your space in the residence halls. If you are under the age of 19, a parent/guardian must sign the contract as well.
Steps for health 和 safety

Use your Nebraska Wesleyan account information to log in to the NWU Student 健康 Portal 要完成 Medical History Form. Once you log in, you will see two forms that you need to complete: Medical History Form 和 Immunization History Form. These forms gather health 和 immunization history for incoming students. We recommend reaching out to your medical provider to gather your health 和 vaccination records prior to completing these reports.

Use your Nebraska Wesleyan account information to log in to the NWU Student 健康 Portal 要完成 Immunization History Form. Once you log in, you will see two forms that you need to complete: Medical History Form 和 Immunization History Form. These forms gather health 和 immunization history for incoming students. We recommend reaching out to your medical provider to gather your health 和 vaccination records prior to completing these reports.
- Complete your Disability Information Form (if applicable) before the review of requests for accommodations begins June 15
NWU is committed to providing access to educational opportunities 和 full participation in the campus community. Once you’ve submitted this form, Accessibility Services staff will contact you to arrange an intake interview 和 determine reasonable accommodations.
Steps for payment 和 financial information
- Review your tuition statement 和 payment plan options 和 apply for federal loans
Information on Federal Direct Loans is included in the financial aid offer mailed to your home address. Parents 和 students will receive information on how to apply for the Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan during New Student Orientation in June. Additional information on loans can be found on this Financial Aid Office webpage.
We will send information in mid-July about your tuition bill 和 steps to finalize payment plans. Fall semester payments are due on Friday, August 30.
- 应用 for an on-campus job
You will receive an email after class registration about on-campus jobs. You can search 和 apply for available jobs on 握手, NWU’s career planning platform. Most student employment positions are posted within the first two weeks of August.
